Chef Jason Jackson
Executive Chef | Owner, J&S Cuisine and Catering, LLC – Fort Lauderdale, Florida
With over 19 years of culinary excellence, Chef Jason Jackson stands as the Executive Chef and proud owner of J&S Cuisine and Catering, LLC, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Renowned for his passion, creativity, and masterful fusion of Jamaican and international flavors, Chef Jason brings a unique blend of authenticity and innovation to every dish he creates.
Chef Jason’s culinary journey began in his homeland of Jamaica, where he trained at some of the island’s most prestigious resorts, including Sandals Beaches Resort, Couples Resort, Royalton Resort, Hyatt Hotel, Rio Hotel, and Rockhouse Hotel. These early experiences helped him develop a diverse cooking style and a deep appreciation for global cuisine.
Throughout his career, Chef Jason has cooked for a wide range of audiences—from intimate gatherings to high-profile events—including the distinct honor of preparing a meal for President Donald Trump during his time as former President in Colorado Springs. His dedication to excellence and signature approach to flavor have earned him multiple awards and recognition as “Best Chef” in several culinary competitions.
Chef Jason’s signature dishes—such as lasagna, ackee and saltfish, curry goat, and rich, flavorful soups—reflect his cultural roots and his flair for creativity. His love for curry goat, in particular, captures the warmth and soul of traditional Jamaican cooking.
Inspired by his grandmother, who served as a canteen chef at his childhood school, Jason’s love for cooking is deeply personal. She instilled in him the importance of seasoning with care, cooking with creativity, and always adding a touch of love—the “secret ingredients” that define his cuisine today.
